Antitrust Litigation Solicitor - Heavyweight International City Law Firm

Location: London, City

Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (initially 6-9 months)

PQE: 3+ PQE

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join the top ranked market-leading antitrust litigation team at a prestigious international City law firm on an initial 6-9 month fixed-term contract basis.

This is a unique chance to work at the forefront of UK and global competition litigation, including cartel damages claims, abuse of dominance cases, and collective proceedings before the UK courts and the Competition Appeal Tribunal. The team is consistently instructed on the most complex and high-profile matters in the market, and is widely recognised as the go-to practice for heavyweight antitrust disputes.

The Role

You will play a key role in a dynamic and collaborative team, contributing to landmark cases that shape the future of competition law. Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting complex pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports
  • Managing disclosure and document review processes
  • Engaging with leading barristers, economists, and expert witnesses
  • Supporting mediation and settlement negotiations
  • Mentoring junior lawyers and trainees
  • Contributing to business development and client training initiatives

You'll also have the opportunity to work across the firm's broader disputes and investigations practice, including public law, regulatory litigation, and class actions.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualification in England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction with solid experience in antitrust litigation matters gained at a top tier law firm. Group actions experience would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong academic credentials and a sharp analytical mind
