South West based charitable housing association BCHA was founded over 50 years ago with a continuing mission to meet housing need and end homelessness. We aim to achieve this through the building and provision of affordable and secure homes, and by supporting individuals to take control and lead independent, fulfilled lives. Whether we are developing sites or supporting people with housing, learning or living skills, we believe in equality, the importance of every individual and the right to be valued and treated with dignity and respect. Our doors are open to everyone.

Position:

Make a real difference in communities. Join us as an Antisocial Behaviour Specialist.

We’re seeking a committed and knowledgeable Antisocial Behaviour Specialist to join our Housing team. In this key role, you’ll provide expert advice, guidance, and training to ensure an effective, trauma-informed response to antisocial behaviour (ASB) across a varied portfolio of general needs, supported, and intensive housing accommodation.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide coaching and support to Housing Officers and Team Leaders, enabling them to deliver a person-centred, trauma-informed approach to ASB reports
  • Lead on prevention, early intervention, and enforcement, using tools such as ASB action plans, mediation, and recovery actions for complex cases
  • Support and embed best practice case management through regular training and coaching, ensuring consistent and high-quality responses across the service
  • Oversee a robust case management system and ensure regular case reviews with clear action plans
  • Triage all ASB cases for safeguarding concerns, ensuring referrals to statutory services are completed and outcomes tracked in line with service standards
  • Keep teams up to date with relevant legislation, ensuring any changes are communicated clearly and reflected in practice
  • Work closely with teams to build a supportive and accountable response to ASB that protects victims and addresses the behaviour of perpetrators

What you’ll bring:

  • Knowledge of antisocial behaviour legislation and enforcement tools
  • Proven experience handling complex ASB cases in a housing or related setting
  • Confident in coaching, training, and supporting teams
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach, with a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
  • Understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred working practices

If you're passionate about building safer, more supportive communities and want to play a key role in shaping how we manage ASB, we’d love to hear from you.
