Job Title: Antisocial Behaviour Investigator

Salary: £29,435.64 - £33,213.18 per year

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Summary

This temporary position is available until 31 March 2026. We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Community Protection Service. The role involves contributing to the Community Safety Team by supporting operational activities, investigating community safety issues, and managing antisocial behaviour cases to meet service standards and performance targets.

You will support high-quality, responsive, customer-focused services to the public and communities in East Dunbartonshire. Responsibilities include coordinating investigations into complaints of antisocial behaviour across various housing tenures, including private and social housing, conducting home visits, interviews, evidence collection, witness statements, and preparing cases for legal action or court attendance.

All roles within East Dunbartonshire Council requiring PVG/Disclosure checks will adhere to the following:

Successful candidates for Regulated Roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 will need to join or update their PVG Scheme status before employment confirmation. The cost of the check will be deducted from the first salary, with possible installment options. If employment ends before deduction, the full amount will be recovered from the final salary.
