Job summary

Talentmark is recruiting an Antibody Formulation Scientist in Slough, England, to join a global biopharmaceutical company on a 12-month contract (maternity cover). The role is site-based in Slough with a salary of £22.40–£25.00 per hour (PAYE) or £30.81 per hour Umbrella.

• Masters or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology or similar with ≥3 years lab experience.
• Hands-on protein/antibody analysis using HPLC/UPLC, iCE, UV, DLS, CGE, rheology or MFI.
• Experience in formulation development or automation is advantageous.
• Strong numeracy and data-focused approach.
• Clear communication and ability to work in a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Run lab experiments and tests to support studies at every stage of drug development.

• Provide technical support and resources to the wider team.
• Write clear protocols, reports, and other documents on formulation work.

Talentmark are recruiting for a Antibody Formulation Scientist to join a global pharmaceutical company on a contract basis initially for 12 months (maternity cover). This role is site based in Slough.

Salary: From £22.40 per hour PAYE, or £30.81 per hour Umbrella.

Antibody Formulation Scientist Role:

• Run lab experiments and tests to support studies at every stage of drug development.
• Help set up and prepare the lab for formulation work.

• Study how antibody-based products can change or break down over time.

Your Background:

• A Masters (or equivalent) or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology or similar, with at least 3 years' laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience with protein/antibody analysis (e.g. HPLC/UPLC, iCE, UV spectroscopy, DLS, CGE, rheology, MFI).
• Experience in formulation development and/or automation is an advantage.
• Strong numeracy skills and a careful, detail-focused approach to data.
• Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work well as part of a busy team.
