Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Team Manager to lead Sandwell Council’s ASB service. This is a key leadership role within the Community Safety Service, responsible for managing the delivery of Sandwell’s response to anti-social behaviour and ensuring services are effective, responsive and compliant with statutory duties.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the ASB team, ensuring high standards of case management and customer service.
  • Oversee prevention, intervention, enforcement and victim support work in relation to ASB.
  • Work collaboratively with internal services, West Midlands Police, courts, voluntary sector, and community safety partners.
  • Ensure performance management, reporting and service improvements are delivered.
  • Play a key role in the Safer Sandwell Partnership and contribute to borough-wide community safety strategies.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven management experience in ASB, community safety, housing, or neighbourhood management.
  • Strong leadership and partnership-working skills, with the ability to motivate teams and work across agencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASB legislation, policy and best practice.
  • Experience of budget and performance management.
