Job description

Anti-Social Behaviour Officer – Community Safety Team

Pay rates to £19.79 per hour

Contract role

Vitalis is recruiting an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to work in the Community Safety team at Manchester City Council.

This role is the first point of contact for all requests to the Community Safety Team. The role involves triaging requests to determine necessary actions, which may include referring to Housing Services, discussing complaints with the complainant, suggesting resolution methods, sending pre-case letters to alleged perpetrators, updating cases, opening new antisocial behaviour cases, or referring callers to Housing Management Caseworkers. The role also includes opening and responding to domestic abuse incidents reported through the MARA process, handling low-level requests, or referring cases for further intervention.

The ideal candidate must have experience managing antisocial behaviour, domestic abuse, hate incidents, and property condition cases.
