Job description

We are recruiting for an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer in the North West region on a full-time basis, hybrid working, paying up to £27.90 an hour.


Your new role

  • Investigate and resolve ASB cases within a designated area, ensuring a high standard of customer-focused casework.
  • Manage complex ASB cases, including noise nuisance, harassment, vandalism, hate crime and domestic violence, working closely with tenancy support and management teams.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary legal paperwork, including court applications and affidavits.
  • Visit victims, perpetrators and witnesses to gather evidence and take witness statements for legal case preparation.
  • Initiate and represent the organisation in court for injunctions and possession proceedings related to ASB cases.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals when required to support court hearings.
  • Work with community safety partners and agencies to deliver a multi-agency approach to ASB resolution.
  • Respond to complaints and queries from local Councillors relating to Tenancy Enforcement Issues.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Knowledge of safeguarding best practices, housing legislation, tenancy (adults and children), ASB, crime, disorder, and sector compliance.
  • Familiarity with relevant legal paperwork and documentation.
  • Experience in housing or tenancy enforcement roles.
  • Experience with legal processes, and working alongside solicitors and legal experts, and taking witness statements.
  • Full driving licence and business insurance.
