Our ASB Team is essential to the smooth running of our business whether they are investigating reports of ASB, working with partner agencies to achieve successful outcomes or supporting victims of domestic abuse, our team keep the customer at the heart of our organisation.
About The Role
We are looking for a customer focussed ASB Case Manager to join our team and to help us achieve our social mission.
On The Job You Will
- Be responsible for delivering a comprehensive ASB service, seeking balance between tenancy sustainment and enforcement actions. This includes investigating and dealing with ASB issues, and being responsible for establishing practical solutions to support those experiencing ASB as well as including legal action against perpetrators.
- Be responsible for seeking out and developing innovative solutions to Neighbourhood and Community ASB issues whilst developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key partners such as the police, local authorities and other community based group and agencies.
- Be responsible, through the Neighbourhood Team Leader, for the delivery of an integrated and progressive operational ASB service for Fairhive
- Take the lead on responding to, investigating, gathering evidence and preparing reports to resolve complaints of ASB ensuring that internal procedures, guidelines and policies are complied with, the relevant legislation is adhered to and offering appropriate advice and assistance to resolve any problems arising.
- Work with partner agencies to tackle and prevent abuse of all forms, including domestic, financial, sexual, physical & emotional abuse, as well as hate crime, using our wider toolkit to take robust action against perpetrators of abuse and ensure that victims are appropriately supported and signposted.
- Take a responsive approach to safeguarding matters and work with other statutory and voluntary agencies and attend meetings where required and ensure all cases are risk-managed and safety planned appropriately.
- Work with relevant partner agencies on multi-agency solutions to ASB in our communities, including mediation services as well as seeking injunctions, preparing notices and enforcing any possession orders, injunction orders, or whichever solution is considered the most appropriate.
- Work to identify areas with high levels of ASB and make recommendations to reduce and prevent future occurrences. This may include the completion of Community Safety Fund and/or Environmental Improvement Fund applications where necessary and to jointly work with other teams to coordinate the necessary work to complete any projects.

For This Role You Will Need
- Formal qualifications, or equivalent experience in your area of expertise.
- A full understanding of the concepts that underpin the ASB area of work.
- Ability to effectively apply your knowledge in practice to support service delivery
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to communicate across all levels of the business
- Excellent organisational, time management, administrative, practical problem solving and prioritisation skills
- The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Good IT skills
