Role Summary
The Display Coordinator works to set the highest standards for display and visual excellence. They create a creative, dynamic, and entertaining environment for customers, working alongside Visual Coordinators/Managers and Store Managers to craft compelling store displays. The role involves utilizing various mediums to execute displays across multiple stores, enhancing the customer experience, and managing seasonal budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
What You'll Be Doing
- Display: Interpret company direction to create artistic and visionary displays that positively impact sales. Ensure craftsmanship quality in all displays, seek outside inspiration, and support new store openings and projects.
- Managing the Environment: Use display materials efficiently, including recycled items. Keep work areas organized and safe, and maintain display longevity.
- Budgets: Manage display project budgets and coding.
- Leadership and Communication: Present display plans to teams and collaborate with stakeholders for timely execution.
- People: Share skills and knowledge, mentor retail teams, and develop team members for display projects.
- Operations: Support sales by creating appealing environments, manage stock loss risks, and plan customer flow with store teams.
What You'll Need
- Experience in art and design fields.
- Strong artistic background across multiple mediums, both 2D and 3D, with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to develop creative ideas into practical solutions.
- Professional portfolio submission if applicable.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Carpentry skills are a plus.
- Experience working at large scale is a plus.
- Comfort with using power tools.
