Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Antenna Engineer to work within a Core Delivery Team on RF sensors for airborne platforms. You will translate requirements, perform trade studies and use CST/Feko/HFSS to optimise designs and installations.

The role covers detailed design, lifecycle support, and potential peer reviews within a small, skilled team, with training available for entry levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in antenna design and RF subsystem specifications.
• Knowledge of antenna measurement techniques (near-field).
• Experience with CST, Feko, HFSS and MATLAB data processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop existing products and research new RF solutions for airborne platforms.
• Translate system requirements into antenna/RF subsystem specs.
• Perform antenna trade studies and technology down-selection.
• Use EM tools to analyse and optimise sensor installations.
• Design antenna/radome components and interfaces across lifecycles.
