Enterprise Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Antenna Design Engineer to take ownership of antenna work packages from concept through validation, contributing to radar and RF technology development.

The role involves designing and modelling antenna systems with software tools, working with RF components such as filters, splitters and rotary joints, and operating in a hybrid environment (2 days at home).

Formación

• Strong background in printed and waveguide antenna design at microwave frequencies.
• Experience with design processes, tolerance analysis and real-world implementation challenges.
• Experience modeling antenna systems using industry-standard software.

We are seeking an experienced Antenna Design Engineer to play a key role in the research, design, development and support of advanced antenna systems used within cutting-edge radar applications. This is an opportunity to take ownership of significant antenna work packages, leading projects from concept through to validation while contributing to the wider development of radar and RF technologies.

The role offers continuous interesting design work, stability, full benefits package and a hybrid work model (2 days a week form home.

To be successful, you will have a strong background in printed and waveguide antenna design at microwave frequencies, supported by a practical understanding of design processes, tolerance analysis and real-world implementation challenges. You should have experience designing and modelling antenna systems using industry-standard software tools and be comfortable working with RF components such as filters, splitters, combiners and rotary joints.

Antenna Design Engineer essential requirements

• RF Component design


• Antenna System Design using software modelling packages.


• Familiarity with RF test equipment (e.g. Spectrum Analysers, Vector Network Analysers).


• Antenna theory, design and test

Antenna Design Engineer desirable skills

• High Power RF amplifier, Low Noise Amplifiers, Limiters, Circulators, Filters, Mixers and Phase Locked Loop usage


• Familiar with Altair RF and antenna design software


• Working knowledge of radar or closely related applications


• Knowledge of adjacent fields, such as radar systems modelling.


• Requirements management and/or systems engineering disciplines.


• MATLAB, Python and AI
