Job Overview

Are you an ambitious, forward-thinking, compassionate, and experienced midwife seeking a leadership and management role? This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic maternity team at Birmingham Women's, managing a ward with 24 Antenatal beds. As the Antenatal Ward Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the inpatient ward, ensuring safe, effective, patient-centered care while leading and developing a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the Antenatal inpatient ward on a daily basis.
  2. Provide clinical expertise by working alongside your team for 40% of your hours.
  3. Drive improvements, ensure compliance with standards, and foster a culture of excellence.
  4. Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications and Skills

Suitable candidates will be experienced midwives with leadership qualities and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
