Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust’s maternity service, Outstanding by the CQC, invites an experienced midwife to join our dynamic team on the Antenatal and Postnatal ward.   • To provide high quality, effective midwifery care that is evidence based and woman centred during the postnatal period.
  • To manage a team of midwives whilst working closely with other multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure safety outcomes and positive patient experiences are achieved.
  • The post holder is also expected to be an expert clinical midwife who will give advice and guidance on the midwifery care of women and pregnant people, babies and their families.
  • The post holder will provide clinical and managerial leadership for the team on Aleck Bourne 2 Ward.
  • To lead and coordinate the day to day running of including multidisciplinary ward rounds.
  • To work collaboratively with the Matrons to provide and develop high quality, safe and effective service.
