To establish and maintain effective ANS Risk and Compliance Management processes, ensuring all GANS and relevant Customer operations comply with applicable GCAA Regulatory and Risk Management requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Develop and communicate the ANS Risk Management and Compliance assurance plan across GANS and its contracts to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, effective risk management, and adherence to GCAA and other relevant requirements.
  2. Attend and organize meetings such as the GANS Risk Review Board (RRB) and other governance meetings at company or contract level.
  3. Maintain GANS Risk Management Plans and Procedures for hazard identification, analysis, mitigation, and communication with stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with the ANS IMS and SMS Departments to develop and deliver risk and compliance management training, primarily using EdApp.
  5. Work with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, to ensure effective implementation of compliance and risk management processes.
  6. Serve as the ADA ANS Quality Post Holder, reporting to the Head of Safety & Compliance and the GCAA, ensuring compliance with GCAA CAR requirements.
  7. Oversee the maintenance and performance of the ADA ANS Compliance, Risk, and Quality management activities, coordinating with relevant stakeholders and management systems.
  8. Act as the principal communicator with GCAA, authorities, customers, and other stakeholders regarding audits, QMS, and compliance issues.
  9. Ensure the preparation and submission of all ANS Unit Organisation Expositions to GCAA for approval.
  10. Manage GCAA Q-Pulse and E-Service platforms, ensuring audit findings are addressed and documentation is compliant and complete.
  11. Lead the ANS Risk and Compliance team, providing support and mentorship.
  12. Plan and conduct audits to ensure regulatory compliance, serving as the Risk Management Focal Point for audits and inspections.
  13. Prepare oversight and assurance reports based on risk management activities for management and customers.
Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Quality, Compliance, or Risk Management.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Professional Certifications
  • Industry-specific training/certifications in Risk compliance management are required.
  • Certifications in Compliance or Quality Management are preferred.
  • Auditor qualification is required.
  • ATC Licence is preferred.
Experience
  • At least 10 years managing Compliance, Risk, or Quality functions.
  • At least 5 years in an aviation organization managing ANS Compliance, Risk, or Quality.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a management or supervisory role within an ANSP.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Auditing and report writing skills.
  • Training design and delivery in Risk and Compliance.
  • Development of Risk and Compliance documentation.
  • Knowledge of enterprise risk management, ICAO Annexes, SARPS, and GCAA regulations.
  • Excellent English communication skills (ICAO Level 5 or equivalent).
