Job description

Are you a Prescriber looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Shakespeare Medical Practice is looking for an ANP/ACP for 37.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

Key duties will include:

  • Provide care for presenting patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • Demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Job responsibilities

  • Annual Salary of up to £60,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays pro rata.
  • 1 week paid CPD/study leave pro rata per year as well as in-house CPD training sessions tailored to meet your needs.

Person Specification
Experience
  • Experience in a Primary Care setting.
  • NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice or working towards non-medical prescriber.
  • Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care.
  • It is preferred that the ideal candidate is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or an MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
