Hours: 06:00 – 14:00 (Monday to Friday) – Overtime & Weekend Work Available
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent-Temp to Perm
Salary:£13.47-£18.27 P/H DOE
Basic Hours: 40 hours per week

Gap Personnel is recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Anodising Plant Manager – a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within a supportive industrial environment.

This hands-on role offers a unique chance to learn and lead. While previous anodising experience is not essential, a background in manufacturing or supervisory work will be an advantage. Full training will be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates the right attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the anodising plant

  • Assisting on the shop floor while training and developing into the role

  • Organising workflow to meet production targets and deadlines

  • Conducting quality checks and reporting issues to the Production Manager

  • Picking materials for processing and managing inventory flow

  • Loading and unloading components into the anodising system

  • Cleaning tanks and maintaining them as per the production schedule

  • Changing chemical IBCs safely and efficiently

  • Communicating with the maintenance team when technical issues arise

  • Supporting production targets and driving continuous improvement
