Content Chemistry is looking for an Animator & Editor to join our talented team!

Using the latest technology, our expert team transforms complex ideas into stunning visual stories that educate, engage, and excite with storytelling through the lens of science and creativity.

Butler Role Overview

As an Animator & Editor, you will play a key role at Content Chemistry, transforming creative concepts into engaging visual stories that captivate and inspire, bringing ideas to life through polished animation, thoughtful editing and seamless integration of both disciplines. Working across the full post‑production pipeline, you will craft engaging visual stories that elevate our client projects and support business growth.

You will collaborate closely with our Lead Animator, Junior Animator, Editor, Producers, Designers and other creatives, ensuring that every deliverable reflects high standards of craft, creativity, accuracy and brand alignment. You will also contribute to workflow excellence, champion best practice in digital asset management and support continuous improvement across the post‑production team.

Animation & Motion
  • Create high‑quality motion assets including fully animated pieces, intro/outro bumpers, video wireframes, lower thirds, transitions and animated sequences, sometimes working from just our clients’ brand guidelines, or from supplied static visual identities our team, and our clients, have developed.
  • Create, source and manipulate vector graphics and assets that support the رم approach and aid the animation process.
  • Accurately time and pace animations to sync with VO, music and sound design — working closely with editors, designers and audio engineers.
  • Confidently excel at using Adobe After Effects and associated plug‑ins; having leadership with the more junior members of the post team and, when we engage with freelancers, ensuring our house style is adhered to, encouraging continuous elevation and dynamism of our deliverables.
Editing & Storytelling
  • Content editing of studio and location‑shot, virtually‑captured and self‑filmed.contents… into compelling narratives for internal and client review. goto;
  • Craft and finesse edits through picture lock, grade, mix, master and delivery, ensuring all outputs meet publication‑ready or platform‑specific standards, codecs and pixel map ratios.
  • Integrate live‑action edits into animated environments, collaborating with designers and the Lead Animator to maintain consistency of visual language.
  • Confidently excel at using Adobe Premiere Pro and associated plug‑ins; having leadership across the more junior members of לגבי theξ team and when we engage with freelancers, نتي ensuring our house style is adhered to and encouraging continuous elevation and dynamism of our deliverables.
Delivery & Quality
  • Adhere to production deadlines whilst balancing creativity, accuracy and commercial needs.
  • Work from storyboards developed by Designers — providing input to ensure motion, edit and visual structure align seamlessly.
  • Participate actively in additions reviews, offering and welcoming conuctive feedback to elevate the standard of our work.
  • Keep inclusion, diversity, transparency and authenticity central to all creative decisions.
People
  • Collaborate closely with Producers, editors and the production team to devise creative animation and editorial solutions, whilst supporting scheduling with proactive resource requirements and time utilisation updates throughout projects.
  • Serve nargs as the connective ‘red thread’ in the post team for large congresses and multi‑deliverable projects, ensuring coherence across animation and edit outputs.
  • Support the mentoring of our Junior Animator, supporting skills development in both animation and editorial craft.
  • Own your role in our company to help shape our operations with both continuous improvement and teamwork in mind, helping everyone to get home on time collecively.
Operations
  • Champion high standards of data handling, file management and workflow excellence — acting as a digital leader across our servers, storage solutions and archival processes.
  • Work with senior team members to streamline processes, propose improvements and support efficient, transparent workflows across post‑production.
  • Support on‑site video production at domestic and international congresses and events when required, with fast turnaround editing capabilities.
  • Support the Lead Animator to manage new kit and equipment requirements for the company, including budget management, sourcing, allocation and tracking for new starters and leavers.
  • Support IT and external partners to maintain data security and ensure system reliability.
Skills of the ideal candidate should include:
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Ability to flexibly switch between editing and animation workflows depending on project priorities.
  • Excellent timing, pacing and storytelling instincts across animation and edit.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Good experimented working knowledge of video cameras, file formats, codecs and digital acquisition workflows.
  • Adaptable, calm under pressure and able to manage fast‑turnaround deliverables.
  • Ability to multitask and reprioritise in line with commercial and creative demands.
  • Personable, open to constructive feedback, recognising individual perspectives and limiting bias.
