Position: Animation Host

Type: Full Time / Seasonal, fortnightly-paid, PAYE contract

Pay Rates: £12.21 per hour (before deductions)

Contract Duration: Summer only, starting 14th June until 31st August 2025

Role Overview

Join our One Great Team at Haven as an Animation Host! Are you passionate about entertainment and eager to develop your skills in a fun, fast-paced environment? We are looking for enthusiastic Animation Hosts to join our Entertainment Team, performing in theatrical productions, bringing events and experiences to life, and supporting various entertainment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of daytime & evening events.
• Performing as an Actor in Haven’s interactive show ‘Dinosaur Explorers’.
• Performing as a costume animator/actor within ‘Seaside Squad’ events.
• Performing as an actor/puppeteer in Haven’s puppet show.
• Engaging in light entertainment duties, including tech, meet & greets, guest interaction.
• Supporting photoshoots, PR exercises, and owner/charity events as needed.

Requirements

• Interest in entertainment and a desire to develop skills in the industry.
• Confidence and ability to engage with guests of all ages.
• Basic dancing, presenting, and animation skills are desirable.
• Willing to work 6 days per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Working hours approximately 39 hours/week.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (18+), and willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
