Job summary

Haven Holidays is seeking enthusiastic Animation Hosts to join our entertainment team in the UK. You will perform across multiple live shows and events, bringing characters and puppets to life while engaging with guests of all ages.

The role includes light tech duties, meet & greets, and occasional photoshoots and PR activities. Candidates should enjoy performing, have basic dancing and presentation skills, and be happy to work evenings, weekends and six days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in live performance or theatre environments preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop performance skills.
• Ability to engage guests of all ages with energy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Perform as an Actor in Haven's interactive adventure show, Dinosaur Explorers.
• Perform as a costume animator/actor in Haven's Seaside Squad events.
• Perform as an actor/puppeteer in a puppet show style of production.

Job description

Supporting in the delivery of daytime & evening events.

• Performing as an Actor within Haven's interactive adventure show; 'Dinosaur Explorers'.
• Performing as a costume animator/actor within Haven's 'Seaside Squad' events.
• Performing as an actor/puppeteer within Haven's 'Avenue Q-style' puppet show.
• Light entertainment duties including tech, meet & greets and guest interaction.
• All roles may also be required to deliver photoshoots & PR exercises.
• All roles may also be required to support in the delivery of Owner/charity events.
• Successful candidates will be required to provide 'right to work' documents to confirm they are 18+ and can legally work in the UK.
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo, and satisfactorily complete, an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting work.
• Our cast members are required to work 6 days per week.
• Hours will include evenings and weekends.
• Working hours are approximately 39 hours per week.

Requirements: Whilst we will provide the training and support required to ensure you are great at what you do - Candidates should have a keen interest in entertainments and a passion to develop their skills within the industry. - Confidence and the ability to engage with guests of all ages is essential. - Basic dancing, presenting and animation skills are desirable.
