Salary:Grade 5 from:£29,150 to £33,013 per annum inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £34,804 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution.

The College’s Bio-Annex is a growing rodent and aquatic research facility which supports our understanding of human health and disease. We have an exciting opportunity for an Animal Technician to join our team working with laboratory species including rodents and zebrafish to support regulated, licensed procedures.
We are looking for someone with a good level of general education in an appropriate science or animal welfare discipline. Working under supervision successful applicants will be involved in the daily husbandry of animals and be responsible for maintaining accurate records. Ideal applicants will have a good understanding of all relevant Home Office and Health and Safety legislation and be able to work as part of a small team. A standard DBS will be required to be undertaken.
