Job description

Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital has a vacancy for an animal nursing assistant to join their small animal team, located between Woodstock and North Oxford.

The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting the nursing team with the setup of surgical procedures
  • Supporting by holding patients for veterinarians and nurses
  • Cleaning and maintaining clinical areas
  • Organizing and putting away supplies
  • Restocking and managing the cleaning and packaging of sterile equipment and theatre attire

Begbroke Veterinary Surgery, opened in January 2020, is a division of Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital, providing consultations, routine diagnostics, and surgery. We have a highly motivated, friendly team eager to welcome someone who can support our excellent services.

Your shift pattern

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 9 am and 6 pm. Overtime on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm may also be required.
