Wigan & Leigh College is seeking an experienced Animal Management Technician on a full-time, permanent basis.
This exciting role involves working at the College's new animal management facility.
We are looking for candidates committed to working in the education sector with a passion for working with animals. The role involves travel across sites, requiring a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a similar role working with animals such as small mammals and/or exotics; experience with large animals or aquatics, or dog grooming is desirable.
You should be organized and able to support the animal management team with planning. The role involves working with learners at all levels and communicating effectively with learners, lecturers, and staff, as it is central to managing the animals in our care.
