Animal Management Lecturer - Maternity Cover, Epsom

We are seeking a part-time maternity cover lecturer in animal management to join our dedicated team. Our facilities include a diverse range of species in our animal management centre, alongside industry-relevant practical and theoretical training. We are committed to excellence in education and ensuring our students are fully prepared for careers in the animal industry.

What we are looking for:
  • Proactive and experienced lecturer working and/or delivering on Levels 3-6 (HE)
  • Educated to degree level
  • Experienced in motivating young people and adults to achieve
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching and assessment across Levels 1 to 3.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess a variety of subjects, including animal behaviour, ecology, zoology, conservation, and business.
  • Potentially teach across a range of courses, including Level Three Advanced Technical Extended Diploma and Foundation Degree.
  • Conduct classroom and practical-based teaching, including sessions on our Animal Care Unit.
  • Plan lessons, assess students, and provide verbal and written feedback in line with university standards.
