About the role

We are currently looking to appoint multipleLecturer / Course Manager's to join the Animal Management team, with a mix of permanent, fixed term, full-time and part-time. The roles will support in the teaching of a range of subjects to Further Education learners. We are looking for an exceptional, well organised individual to course manage, implement quality assurance processes and develop new curriculum content that keeps us at the forefront of this evolving arena.

As the department moves into the T-level curriculum, it would be advantageous if candidates have a good understanding ofLevel 3 T-level delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop new curriculum content consistent with college approved procedures
  • Develop links and builds relationships with industry and associated stakeholders
  • Provide Course Management to one or more student groups
  • Establish effective working relationships with all interdependent areas of the College
  • Optimise use of the College Animal Management Department through knowledge transfer internally and externally

The successful candidate will:

  • Minimum Level 4 qualification in relevant subject
  • Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent
  • Recognised Teaching Qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
  • Technically sound with inspirational and innovative teaching ability
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with individuals at all levels including students, parents, colleagues and the wider industry
