Salary: £28,956 per annum + benefits

As their Unit Supervisor for their Animal Care and Land Based provision at College, you will be the first person responsible for the welfare and health of their animal collection.
The responsibility of the Unit Supervisor will be for the well-being of all animals and overseeing the land-based technical support, supervising the team of technicians and learners on work experience.
You will be responsible for providing full year-round care for all animals and ensuring appropriate cover arrangements prioritise animal welfare.
As Unit Supervisor, you will also be responsible for tours and demonstrations of their animals and land to designated groups, so excellent knowledge of their animal collection and facilities alongside good customer service skills is essential.
As Unit Supervisor, you will report to the Curriculum Team Leader and Curriculum Manager. You will work closely with other staff within the Curriculum Area such as Lecturers and will supervise their team of Technicians on a day-to-day basis.
