Animal Care Lecturer - Permanent, 0.6

Salary: 32000 - 44000 ( 19000 - 26500 pro rata)

Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Animal Care lecturer on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within our land-based department, delivering high-quality education and training to learners preparing for careers in the animal care industry

The role is a 0.6 - 3 days per week (Timetable to be confirmed) and will start preferably in the new term (18th August)

About the Role:
As a member of the Animal Care team, you will plan and deliver engaging, practical and theoretical lessons across a range of animal care qualifications from Entry Level to Level 3. You will work closely with learners to develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence in caring for a wide variety of animals.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach and assess on animal care programmes in both classroom and practical settings.
Support the development and delivery of an engaging and up-to-date curriculum
Track and support student progress, including preparation for assessments.

What We're Looking For:
A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
A relevant Level 3 or higher qualification in Animal Care or Animal Management.
Industry experience working with a range of animal species.
A commitment to delivering high standards of teaching and learning.
Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
