Overview

We are hiring! We have an exciting opportunity for an Animal Care Assistant to join our team within the Lynton Veterinary Group on a part-time, permanent basis. The working week will be 25-30 hours per week with Saturday mornings on a rota with time off in lieu, with no OOH.

About the role

We provide a varied working day for our support team, duties depend on the shift but include supporting veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses, reception duties, lab work, and maintaining a sterile work environment. The role will allow for great clinical exposure and the opportunity to work amongst a friendly and supportive team.

Our ideal candidate

We are ideally looking for someone with relevant small animal experience in a busy practice (not essential as full training provided), is committed to animal welfare and can work effectively in a team environment.

We are a long-established, Small Animal Veterinary Group based in Woking, Bagshot, and Addlestone. As a progressive practice, we recently relocated to our brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, and continue to invest to refurbish and equip our other 2 practices to the same high standard. We also have a purpose-built grooming salon at our main site. We have 7 Veterinary Surgeons across the group who are supported by a great team of 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, ANAs and experienced Receptionists.
