Job description

Do you want to be part of a friendly, dynamic team? We have a unique opportunity for someone with veterinary experience to join us as a Veterinary Care Assistant.

You will primarily be based at our Chertsey clinic, with occasional cover at our Woking Practice. The role involves supporting our clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations, including holding patients, running blood samples, assisting vets and veterinary nurses, and providing reception cover.

Kingswood Vets has well-established, busy practices in Woking and Chertsey. We are a dedicated team committed to offering high standards of veterinary care to all our patients.

About You
  • Animal Care qualifications are desirable.
  • Experience working with animals is essential, ideally in a clinical environment.
  • You should remain calm and focused under pressure, with a caring and empathetic approach.
  • Strong team player with confident and effective communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role is beneficial but not essential.
Your Shift Pattern

This is a flexible role, offering between 32-40 hours per week, with varied 8-hour shifts and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
