The Opportunity

Reporting to the Rail Operations Technical Delivery Lead, you will design and develop cloud-hosted web applications, primarily focusing on front-end development and supporting UX/UI design.

The Rail Operations team in Darlington and Beeston comprises around 80 passionate professionals dedicated to delivering value and driving change in the UK rail industry. We serve over 86 customers, including government and private sector entities.

Our products underpin vital rail infrastructure, and we are innovating with GPS tracking, data analytics, cloud hosting, Digital Twins, machine learning, and AI. You will contribute to enhancing our stock and crew management solutions, developing the next generation of employee rostering functionality within the Integrale suite.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Design technical front-end solutions for web and mobile platforms
  • Code and develop applications following industry best practices
  • Break down designs into work packages for the development team
  • Provide technical guidance and review work of team members
