An established industry player is seeking an Anglican Chaplain to join a dedicated team at HMP Ashfield. This role is vital in providing faith and pastoral care to prisoners and staff, ensuring that all can participate in worship and activities aligned with their beliefs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Anglican theology, experience in a custodial setting, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-faith environment. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals within the prison system while fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
Here at Serco, we are looking for an Anglican Chaplain to join the team at HMP Ashfield. The Anglican Chaplain is to work as part of the Multi-Faith team in ensuring that all prisoners can participate in worship and other activities in pursuance of their religious convictions and provides pastoral and faith specific care to prisoners and staff.
The purpose of this role is to provide faith/belief and pastoral care to prisoners and staff in their own faith/belief tradition and have an understanding/knowledge of other faith/beliefs. Job holders will also be required to meet the pastoral needs of people of other faiths/beliefs and none.
