Job summary

Unity in the United Kingdom is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Google team delivering Unity platform support for an Android-based ecosystem spanning mobile to laptop form factors. The aim is to enable Unity developers to ship across devices while leveraging each device’s characteristics and services.

You will mentor engineers, set technical strategy, and collaborate with engine, platform and graphics teams to deliver performant features.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a high-performance software engineering team.
• Strong knowledge of Android platform tech across native C/C++, Java and Kotlin.
• Proven ability to align benchmarks, tech specs and interdependencies with product owners and partners.
• Software engineering background with familiarity in C++, C# and Java.
• Ability to understand a large, complex software product.
