Reversec is seeking Android reverse engineers and malware analysts to join a specialist team that supports a major technology platform. You will investigate complex Android applications, perform static and dynamic analysis, and contribute to detection development.

Qualifications

• Strong programming fundamentals in at least one object-oriented language.
• Interest in Android internals and how malicious software works.
• Investigative mindset with curiosity, persistence and attention to detail.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Malware Reverse Engineering: detailed static and dynamic analysis of Android apps and SDKs.
• Analyse heavily obfuscated Java/Kotlin apps, native code, and Flutter/React Native apps.
• Investigate packers, in-memory loading techniques, encrypted payloads and anti-analysis methods.
• Identify malicious functionality and conduct complex investigations.
• Detection Engineering: develop and validate detection logic and automated rules.
• Quality & Peer Review: review analyses and ensure reporting quality.
• Research & Tool Development: create one-off tools and automation for investigations.
