Starling is recruiting Android engineers to join our mobile team and help deliver features in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will contribute to the Starling Android app, working across the stack to build reliable and accessible experiences for customers.

We value engineers who care about the code, the customer, and collaboration. Expect to work in a hybrid setup with regular collaboration in the office and across squads.

Qualifications

• Experience in Android app development with Kotlin.
• Strong focus on accessibility and secure coding practices.
• Proficiency with MVVM, Jetpack Compose and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Starling Android app in Kotlin across teams.
• Collaborate on tooling, CI automation and release processes for mobile teams.
• Commit, review and ship code from week one with a focus on quality.
• Work in cross-functional squads and participate in weekly release discussions.
