The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking an Ancillary Support Worker, full-time, to maintain cleanliness in care homes. This role involves domestic cleaning, ensuring a safe environment, and compliance with health regulations, with support from home management. Applicants should be self-motivated and dedicated to high cleanliness standards.

You will receive a comprehensive induction into the requirements of the role and care staff will be expected to complete the 15 Care Certificate standards within 6 months as part of their probationary period.

Ancillary Support Worker - full time post, 35hrs per week, Scale1 £25277-£27729
We are looking for an Ancillary Support Worker to work across two of our registered care homes and carry out domestic cleaning duties.
Ensuring that a clean and safe environment is provided for residents and staff, providing a high-quality service and high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures and Health and Safety.
You will be required to work within relevant legislation, policies and procedures and comply with COSHH and Infection Control Regulations.
You will be supervised and supported by the home management and will take instruction from them. Your daily aim is to keep the homes clean and organised. You must therefore be self-motivated with a desire to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in each house.
