The NHS is seeking an Anatomic Pathology Technician to join the Pathology Department at University Hospital Southampton. The successful candidate will assist in delivering comprehensive mortuary services, conducting both routine and specialized autopsy services, and liaising with funeral directors. This full-time role also includes various responsibilities such as patient registration, data entry, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

The role requires the successful candidate to assist in theprovision of a comprehensive Mortuary service to the Trust and Southampton CityCoroner, carrying out both routine and specialised autopsy services.
As a Mortuary Technician, you will be expected to have sufficientprevious experience of working within an NHS mortuary setting, particularlyexperienced in doing body checks and liaising with funeral directors.
On a day-to-day basis you will be supporting the senior mortuary staff inthe delivery of the service.
The service operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 16:30 and the idealcandidate will be able to work full-time.
