Responsible for developing Anaplan to support the Financial Planning & Analysis process in Howden UK & Ireland Retail business.
The business has a turnover of £600m+ with over 5000 employees is growing over 14% per annum organically and making a number of acquisitions.
This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining Anaplan models to support our five pillars in the UK&I Retail business with their revenue, overhead, balance sheet and cashflow models. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of Anaplan best practices, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.
Experience & Professional Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Anaplan Developer, with a strong understanding of Anaplan platform architecture and functionalities.
- Proficiency in Anaplan modelling, including module creation, formula development, data integration, and user interface design.
- Experience with Anaplan integrations with other systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HR).
- Anaplan Model Builder certification is highly desirable.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience of building relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience of managing projects is a plus.
- Experience working in Insurance Broker or similar financial services industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Anaplan models, dashboards, and reports to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions.
- Build and optimize complex calculations, formulas, and modules within Anaplan.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Anaplan platform.
- Perform testing and quality assurance to validate model functionality and performance.
- Provide end-user training and support on Anaplan models and functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Anaplan models and integrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Anaplan features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Anaplan documentation.
