Job Title: Analytics Platform Engineer

As an Analytics Platform Engineer, you will use cutting-edge technology on GCP BigQuery and dbt Cloud to build world-class data models that surface data to the company.

This is a close-knit team where you will maintain data models and data products to service APIs and assist analyst and visualization teams to become as self-sufficient as possible, without needing to worry about data infrastructure, data transformation, and data quality processes.

The must-haves

• SQL expertise, including complex query writing, optimization techniques, data modeling, and database performance tuning.
• Experience working with large datasets, building stored procedures, functions, triggers, and implementing ETL processes.
• Familiarity with products like Apache Airflow, DBT, GitLab/GitHub, BigQuery.
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience building and deploying environments or tooling in GCP.

The other stuff we are looking for

• Hands-on Python experience, including writing modular and reusable code, and implementing algorithms and data structures for efficient computation.
• Skills in developing robust applications, scripts, and libraries.
• Experience working in a platform team within an analytics/data focus.
• Knowledge of data governance.
