What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a candidate who has experience in an analytics strategy role encompassing both app and web. Experience of working in a similar role at a consumer subscription product will be a great advantage, but not essential for the right candidate. While you don’t need to be an expert in the specific tools we use, you will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience in some key technical areas that underpin our analytics strategy such as product analytics and marketing attribution. You will have experience of developing and/or maintaining an end-to-end analytics strategy across app and web in a similar role.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in a data science or analysis is essential for this role, and related degree is preferred, but not essential if you can demonstrate that you have a good understanding of the fundamentals and equivalent work experience

  • A good understanding of event-based analytics across both web and native app. Experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase or a similar solution will be a significant advantage

  • Experience in marketing attribution, in particular mobile attribution, particularly having previously used AppsFlyer, adjust, Branch or similar tools to attribute mobile app marketing traffic

  • Proficient in at least one query language such as SQL

  • You will have strong reasoning skills and experience of using data to validate or challenge an assumption such as looking for positive correlation between two actions in a data set

  • Ability to work independently, managing your time effectively and meeting deadlines, checking in with your people leader for help when you need it and keeping them appraised of your progress

  • You will have good communication skills and be able to articulate complex ideas and evidence in a way that is easy for others to understand

  • Experience in PowerBI will be an advantage, specifically maintaining dashboards of critical business updates. Similar experience in Tableau or a related platform would be acceptable

  • You will be an advanced user of Excel, and preferably advanced DAX skills to enable you to get the most from our PowerBI tool
