Job summary

This Analytics Engineer will contribute to the UK Cards analytics foundation, collaborating with analysts, product teams and backend engineers to improve data structure, transformations and data consumption across the company.

Qualifications

• Strong data modelling skills and understanding of reliable analytics datasets.
• Experience with ELT pipelines and transformation at scale, ideally using dbt.
• Experience with Snowflake or another modern cloud data warehouse.
• Proactive in improving data workflows and proposing solutions.
• Collaborative, with clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate analytics and engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve data models supporting lending decisions, pricing, portfolio analysis and reporting.
• Champion analytics engineering standards and best practices.
• Support analysts at varying levels, translating requirements into robust pipelines.
• Triage issues in the analytics pipeline and improve transformation efficiency, reliability and cost.
