Responsibilities

• You’ll design, develop, and maintain efficient data architecture and infrastructure for seamless data collection, storage, and processing.
• You’ll implement and optimize data pipelines, enabling smooth data flow from diverse sources to data repositories.
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to define scalable and secure data models that meet data requirements.
• You’ll establish and maintain data governance and security protocols, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• You’ll collaborate with the analytics team to develop impactful KPI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on data needs.
• You’ll work closely with marketing teams to integrate and analyze marketing attribution data for effective user acquisition and retention strategies.
• You’ll proactively monitor data quality, address issues, and implement data validation processes.
• You’ll stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance our data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong data engineering skills, including expertise in data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing.
• High proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and database management tasks, such as table creation, index definition, and access permission management.
• Experience with at least one programming language like Python, Java, or Scala for scripting and data processing.
• Experience with the modern data stack (tools like BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Airflow, GitHub, and command line-based workflows) and a hunger to work in that domain.
• You understand the importance of data modeling and have knowledge of star schemas.
• Understanding of marketing attribution data and its integration into data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable data solutions.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and conveying complex ideas.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Preferable experience with Metabase and Clickhouse.
• Preferable experience with machine learning and automation techniques for data analysis and prediction.
• Ideally familiarity with Web3 technology and the gaming industry.
