As an Analytics Engineer within the Biostatistics team, you'll establish and manage robust, scalable pipelines for data analysis and infrastructure, optimize Posit environments on AWS, and champion reproducible analytic workflows. Aside from working closely with your fellow Biostatistics teammates, you’ll collaborate with AI platform, AI model development, and platform engineering teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key analytical contributor on diverse research and development initiatives, collaborating closely with biostatistics, clinical development teammates, AI engineers, product managers, and external partners
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must-Haves:
  • 2+ years of industry experience developing software with R via both OOP and functional programming, as well as development of interactive Shiny applications.
  • Solid working knowledge of Linux system administration.
  • 2+ years of industry experience owning the infrastructure used by the Biostatistics teams, including version control (e.g., Git), AWS, and maintaining this using a commonly used IaC framework such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with Python and ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience configuring and maintaining high-performance computing environments optimized for R users, ideally within the Posit Team enterprise.
  • Familiarity with Posit Team's features, setup, and ongoing configuration.
