Job summary
Corecom Consulting is seeking a BI/Analytics Engineer to help shape our data platform and AI-driven reporting across a major ERP transformation. You will build ETL, map legacy data, and deliver dashboards to maintain business continuity while defining future analytics and AI use cases.
You will influence semantic modelling, self-service analytics, and cloud platform adoption, collaborating with IT and Finance. A strong Analytics Engineering mindset and hands-on Alteryx experience are essential.
Qualifications
- Build and maintain ETL workflows for ERP transformation.
- Map legacy data structures into a new enterprise platform using Alteryx or similar technologies.
- Develop dashboards and visualisations that provide meaningful business insight.
- Work with stakeholders to keep reporting accurate during transformation.
- Contribute to semantic data models enabling self-service analytics and future AI.
- Support evaluation and implementation of a modern cloud data platform.
- Identify opportunities where AI can improve reporting, automation and processes.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance and wider teams on strategic data initiatives.
- Experience building ETL workflows using Alteryx or similar tools.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI or Qlik (Tableau preferred).
- Analytics Engineering mindset with semantic data models support for reporting/AI.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx.
- Exposure to Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience designing semantic layers or modern analytical data models.
- Knowledge of medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
- Exposure to prompt engineering or AI use cases in a commercial environment.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established UK business at a pivotal point in its technology journey. With a major enterprise transformation programme underway, you'll play a key role in ensuring critical Business Intelligence capabilities continue to support the business while helping define the next generation of data, analytics and AI.
This isn't a traditional BI role. Alongside supporting a large-scale ERP transformation, you'll help influence the organisation's future data platform, introduce modern analytics engineering principles and identify practical AI use cases that create real business value.

Working within a collaborative Data & BI team, you'll split your time between supporting a major ERP migration and helping shape the organisation's long-term AI and data strategy.
