Job Description

We have a new vacancy for an experienced Analytics Consultant to join our Analytics team and support our cloud-based Ascend platform. The Analytics Consultant will partner with clients to understand their business, identify data requirements, and help clients leverage Experian data analytics to improve business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design analytics solutions to client problems in consumer lending and credit risk management using Experian analytics solutions.
• Engage with clients to identify problems and define, design, and deliver analytics solutions, particularly in credit risk modelling and optimization techniques.
• Present proposals for analytics solutions, including recommendations.
• Provide consultancy on broader strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate with Experian’s Analytics Pre-Sales team to support sales opportunities and convert prospects.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in analytical modelling and consultancy within credit risk management or banking, as a Consultant, Data Scientist, or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Applied modelling and analytics experience to influence business decisions.
• Proficiency in Python, SAS, or R.
• Expertise in consumer lending mechanics (risk, data usage, outcomes).
• Knowledge of Cloud / AWS.
• Product strategy experience is desirable but not essential.
