Job summary

Arm is seeking a hands-on developer to design and build lightweight analytics applications on our Enterprise Data Platform within the EDI team. You will translate user needs into usable data products, collaborating with Data Engineers, Analysts and stakeholders to enable trusted insights across Arm Operations.

The role focuses on onboarding usability, data quality, documentation and adoption, with opportunities to shape analytics tooling and dashboards that communicate onboarding and business

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing data or analytic applications in Python using Streamlit, Dash or a similar framework.
• Experience designing, testing and maintaining user-facing applications, including the use of version control.
• Strong SQL skills and experience analysing and integrating data sets from multiple sources.
• Experience with Databricks (or similar modern data platforms).
• Working experience with notebooks and Python data libraries and processing frameworks (e.g. Pandas, PySpark).
• Understanding of deployment, CI/CD, orchestration and application support practices.

Responsibilities

Job Overview: This role sits within the Enterprise Data & Insights (EDI) team, supporting the development of our Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) within Arm Operations. We enable analytics for business teams through high-quality data products. You will design and build lightweight analytics application on our data platform. This will bring data together from multiple sources and enable business teams to explore, understand and act on trusted insights. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate user needs into intuitive applications, reusable data products that improve how data is accessed, understood, and used across the organisation. This is a hands-on application development with strong analytical content. Its initial focus is an application that support training and onboarding, with responsibility for usability, data quality, documentation and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Design build, test, deploy and maintain lightweight analytics application, primarily using python and streamlit, to support training and onboarding
• Translate business and user requirements into intuitive application workflows, well-structured data models and transparent metrics.

• Build dashboards and visualisations where they are the most appropriate way to communicate onboarding, adoption and business metrics
• Support onboarding of new users to the data platform, improving accessibility and usability

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands on experience developing data or analytic applications in Python using Streamlit, Dash or a similar framework
• Experience designing, testing and maintaining user-facing applications, including the use of version control
• Strong SQL skills and experience analysing and integrating data sets from multiple sources
• Experience with Databricks (or similar modern data platforms)
• Working experience with notebooks and Python data libraries and processing frameworks (e.g. Pandas, PySpark)
• Understanding of deployment, CI/CD, orchestration and application support practices.

Nice To Have Skills and Experience

• Experience building dashboards and visualisation using (Databricks SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or a similar tool)
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and automated testing approaches
• Understanding of data engineering concepts (pipelines, orchestration, version control)
• Exposure to working in a product-oriented or data platform environmen
