Do you want to have day-to-day responsibility for busy Public Health and Environmental Engineering Research Laboratories? Do you have proven experience working in a Biological or Chemical Laboratory, using a range of analytical instrumentation?
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team of analytical technicians. You should be communicative, organized, flexible, and committed, with a can-do attitude to support both academic and research staff, as well as students, ensuring the smooth running of laboratory and research activities.
Your role will support the research and practical teaching activities of the Water, Public Health, and Environmental Engineering group, covering various areas of interest and techniques. You will also support the wider School of Civil Engineering's technical activities, aligned with the current strategic organization and development of technical services in the school.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day organization of several laboratories and liaising with teaching and research staff, students, and other technicians.
This role will be based at the University of Leeds campus, with scope for hybrid working arrangements. We are open to discussing flexible working options.
