Job Description

We're hiring for an LC-MS Associate Scientist to join an innovative analytics team driving the development of next-generation monoclonal antibody therapeutics. If you have experience with LC-MS and a passion for advancing biologics, this could be a great opportunity to apply your skills in a forward-thinking environment.

The Role:

You’ll develop and optimise LC-MS methods (e.g., intact mass and N-released glycosylation analysis) and help establish a robust routine analytical service. Your work will support key characterisation of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies and integrate closely with upstream development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and optimise LC-MS assays for mAb characterisation.
  2. Set up and maintain a routine LC-MS service, including team training.
  3. Troubleshoot instrumentation and ensure data quality.
  4. Standardise analysis templates compatible with ELNs and ML integration.
  5. Collaborate across scientific teams to ensure alignment.
  6. Maintain detailed, GLP-compliant experimental records.
  7. Contribute to SOPs, lab upkeep, and internal presentations.
What We're Looking For:
  1. BSc or MSc in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
  2. 3+ years’ hands-on experience in LC-MS analysis of biologics.
  3. Strong understanding of assay development and CQA analysis.
  4. Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Skills:
  1. Experience with Waters BioAccord and Benchling.
  2. Exposure to high-throughput pipelines and broader mAb analytics (e.g., ELISA, qPCR).
  3. Familiarity with ICH guidelines and QbD principles.
