Job summary

Pharmaron Cramlington is seeking a Scientist to join our Analytical Quality Control team, supporting late-stage development and commercial API programmes. This role offers hands-on GMP laboratory experience and the opportunity to contribute to method development, validation and routine GMP analysis.

You will work alongside experienced scientists in a collaborative environment, gaining exposure to diverse analytical techniques, data interpretation and continuous improvement initiatives while

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry or related discipline.
• Experience in an analytical lab, gained via industry, research, placements or graduate roles.
• Experience using HPLC is essential; GC experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing to support batch release, development and scale-up activities using a range of analytical techniques.
• Generate accurate, reliable and timely analytical data in line with GMP requirements.
• Assist with method development, method transfer and method validation under guidance.
• Interpret analytical data, investigate unexpected results and support follow-up activities.
• Maintain GMP-compliant laboratory documentation and contribute to housekeeping and improvements.
