Job summary

Nuclear Inst is seeking a Labs & Analytical Support Manager to oversee the delivery of the analytical programme and lead a specialist team at Dounreay. You will work with customers and regulators to uphold high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include planning and delivering the programme, ensuring ISO and UKAS compliance, and driving continuous improvement across laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent qualification plus experience.
• Experience managing programmes and projects to time, cost and quality requirements.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, auditing processes and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver the analytical programme to time, cost and quality requirements.
• Oversee laboratory operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor safety, cost, programme and quality performance; implement remedial actions.
• Lead Dounreay staff as a Line Manager and support safe delivery of analytical services.
