  • Strong foundation in general chemistry, utilising both traditional wet chemistry and instrumental techniques
  • In-depth understanding of both internal and external quality control processes across a range of analytical techniques
  • Extensive knowledge of data performance checks and data integrity requirements to ensure test reliability
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with laboratory staff, management, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
  • Candidates should have experience in working within UK standards and regulatory frameworks

  • Demonstrable, in-depth practical experience within a relevant sector
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry-standard methods and sector schemes (particularly DWTS and MCERTS)
  • Some experience with internal or external audits of laboratory technical activities is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with laboratory staff, senior management, and support teams throughout the organisation

Guidance will be provided to enhance your skills in report writing to UKAS standards, with a focus on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 awareness and understanding of UKAS systems.
