Temporary Position

Role Title: Analytical Chemist

Pay Rate: £14:86 per hour

Kindeva is a global pharmaceutical contract developer and manufacturer (CDMO) business, where we combine life enhancing drugs with state-of-the-art inhalers to provide customers and patients, with top quality respiratory devices.

Our role as a Contract Manufacturer is one, we are incredibly proud of and is one which allows us to be at the forefront of new manufacturing technologies and processes, bringing lifesaving products to patients worldwide.

Role Overview: The Kindeva site in Loughborough manufactures and packages pharmaceutical and medical products in various forms. This role will be working as part of a team responsible for the testing and development of new inhalation pharmaceutical products as part of a successful CDMO organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out analytical testing compliant with GMP regulations, delivering to plan on time in full.
  • Deliver robust data and outcomes whilst working in a fast, flexible environment, with a strong focus on right first time.
Safety
  • Promote a "safety first" culture and environment
  • Raise and report any safety incident as required
  • Complete Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) closures on time in full
Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience in pharmaceutical product testing is preferable
  • Testing of pressurised metered dose inhalers is preferable
  • Good understanding of GMP and GLP
  • Knowledge of Analytical Chemistry and its practical application
  • Working knowledge of Analytical instrumentation. HPLC/UHPLC knowledge is desired. GC, MS and spectroscopy are beneficial.
  • Understanding of basic statistics and experimental design, desirable
  • Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and numerical aptitude skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently

  • Ideally a degree (or higher) in a relevant scientific discipline with practical laboratory elements or relevant previous experience
Additional Information

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5hrs per week

Location: Charnwood Campus with Free on-site parking.
